MANDATORY DISCLOSURE


Florida divorce and family law cases have their own special set of rules: Florida Family Court Rules of Procedure. The Mandatory Disclosure Rule (Rule 12.285), requires that each party to a family law case provide certain documentation to the other party so that each will be fully informed about the financial circumstances of the other party. There is a specific process and manner in which documents are supposed to be disclosed to the other party.
